Jonathan A. Sorkowitz
Jonathan A. Sorkowitz is a litigator who wins cases and a partner in Pierce Bainbridge’s New York office. Jon has substantial litigation experience in commercial disputes, insurance coverage, antitrust, professional liability, and a wide array of other substantive areas. Before joining Pierce Bainbridge, Jon worked at the global law firm White & Case LLP as a commercial and antitrust litigator, and the insurance coverage and litigation boutique Skarzynski Black LLC. Jon prides himself on his winning record of favorable judgments and settlements.
Jon holds a B.A. in History from Cornell University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law. During law school, Jon worked as a summer clerk in the chambers of U.S. District Judge Norma Shapiro, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Jon is actively interested in technology and the law and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional. Outside the law, Jon enjoys playing tennis and hiking in upstate New York.
