Jialin (Chuck) Zhong

Chuck is the founder of Zhong Law, LLC, focusing on acquiring valuable intellectual property rights for clients. In particular, clients rely on Chuck’s extensive legal and technical background to procure patents worldwide. Chuck routinely drafts and prosecutes patent applications in complex technical fields including microprocessor architectures, operating systems, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, video/audio codec, computer vision, speech recognition, analog circuits, microphone arrays, searchable content platform, and automobile systems.

Chuck also advises clients on a broad range of intellectual property issues including rendering non-infringement opinions, freedom to operate, and pre-litigation analysis. As a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese, Chuck is particularly adaptive to communicate with Chinese clients including leading Chinese technology companies and universities. Prior to his legal career, Chuck conducted scientific and engineering research in industrial labs including the renowned Bell Labs. Chuck conducted research and published in the fields of computer vision, image processing, and speech-driven computer animation.
